Arts & Culture Center Opening Celebration: The MHA opened the Arts and Culture Center with an opening ceremony on July 27th, 2004
Choices in Recovery Seminar: The purpose of this educational program is to help you understand schizophrenia, its treatment, and how its treatment can lead to recovery. Event was held May 26, 2005 and again on May 22nd, 2006.
Employees Awarded, Melissa Edinger and Kathy Lutz: The Manufacturers’ Association of Northwest Pennsylvania, a professional employer resource held its Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday, April 20, 2005.
Glowband Fundraiser for Suicide Prevention: 'Glowband' wristbands were sold at the Mental Health Association as a fundraiser for 'MPower', a youth awareness campaign sponsored by the National Mental Health Association, MHANP, and 1-800-SUICIDE, a 24hour crisis line. This campaign was conducted during the spring of 2006. The results were excellent and the glowbands were sold-out very quickly.
'Mind YourHealth' Annual Fair: "Mind Your Health", the annual Health Fair is held during the month of April, each year. A large group of agencies participate and a very large group of visitors attend.
United Way Day of Caring: Eight enthusiastic energetic volunteers from Gannon University came to the Mental Health Association of Northwestern PA on April23, 2005. The Café, Spirit of Peace and one office were painted by lunchtime.
