Erie County Department of Health presents workshop on cancer

The Erie County Department of Health is seeking to educate Erie County residents on multiple types of cancer. Cancer is the number one cause of death in the United States.

The Department of Health will be focusing on:

Skin Cancer
One in five Americans will develop some form of skin cancer during their lifetime.
Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in both men and women.
Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in Pennsylvania.
Ovarian Caner
Ovarian cancer occurs in one out of every fifty-seven women it is the fourth leading cause of all cancer deaths among women in Pennsylvania.

Please take the time to come take part in the workshops hosted at the Mental Health Association (MHA) at 1101 Peach. Representatives from the County Department of Health will be offering power point talking points, pre/post tests, informational brochures, and an opportunity to ask any questions on topics presented.
