An Advocate from Erie County Care Management, Erie Counties Mental Health Base Service Unit, will be visiting the MHA each Tuesday and Thursday Afternoons. Brian McLaughlin is a Certified Peer Specialist and will partner with his peers in order to assist them in navigating the mental health delivery system in Erie County. Brian will also provide one on one assistance with questions and assist in skill building related to personal advocacy and problem solving. Brian will be seeking greater contact and feedback from other consumers of mental health services.
By means of a shared dialog, Brian will be better prepared to accurately assess and voice the diverse thoughts, feelings, and needs of mental health consumers residing in Erie County. When not at the MHA Brian can be contacted by calling ECCM at (814) 528-0600
